First time I've ever gone to a restaurant based on a youtube video. On the way to Thompson Speedway I decided to stop. The burger was awesome. So were the home fries. I couldn't believe how fast my order was up. The dude at the counter was friendly. Will be back next time I'm in CT

Called in to order, and burger was ready when I arrived 10 min later. Burger itself was bland but perfect with cheese and mayo, ketchup, and pickle. Roll fresh and soft. Convenient walk up window. Park on the street. Looks like there are a few seats inside. Staff were nice and seemed excited that I was visiting from out of town and wanted to try a steamed cheeseburger.

Awesome old school hamburger joint. Got there shortly after opening, food took like five minutes and was phenomenal. Double cheeseburger and onion rings hit the spot!

The steamed cheeseburgers were awesome, no complaints about the food. With that being said my only complaint is 2 female employees complaining and downtalking other employees very loud while customers were eating. We definetly do not need or want to hear about all of the workplace drama while we are sitting in a place eating. They complained about everything from the owner to other employees being lazy to hours and how they are told to text eachother when they have something to say about eachother. Just very unprofessional, owner needs to handle his business situations and stop employees from doing this.

All around great food great atmosphere everyone were so kind and helpful. Kind of pricey but the food is worth it. We paid 74$; for four of us getting fries and burgers so not so bad when you have that great taste. Everyone was welcoming and had great personalities. We get to watch how burgers are steamed And plates put together everything fresh. It's awesome. We will be coming back. I wish there were more places around Ted's is top notch. I recommend the burgers for sure. Drive right up to the door for dinning too so handicap aren't left in the car it is easy Access. Very easy to order too. we will be going back soon.

Unique hamburger joint the burgers are steamed they don't come out rare but they're juicy and delicious The cheese is a must that's also steamed and melted served on a JJ casson roll.
The place is small and has counter service and tables in the summer picnic benches outside usually crowded around lunch time worth the trip

Great place to eat we have been coming here for many years. The staff are amazing very helpful and very knowledgeable. The cooks try their best every time they step foot through the door. The people coming in so not seem so welcoming but it's how it is I guess. Small place but they seem to always know how to make things go smoothly. Ice cream to shakes to burgers to sandwiches.

I would put Teds in the top 3 burgers of CT. The fries are also great but the steamed cheese burger should be considered on the same scale as wagu beef. Wouldn't pass it up if you are in the area
